Corewilds Water & Fishing
Water & Fishing
Fishing rods, biome loot tables, fish types, swimming and water mechanics in Corewilds.
Back to WikiWater Mechanics
Water appears throughout the Corewilds world as oceans, rivers, lakes and underground streams. Water blocks have unique physics and gameplay interactions.
Swimming
- Players move slower in water than on land
- Jump (Space) while in water to swim upward
- Stamina drains while swimming — manage your sprint carefully
- You cannot mine blocks while swimming (must stand on solid ground)
- Water blocks are found in Shore, Forest (rivers), Cave (underground rivers) and Mountain (lakes) biomes
Fishing Rod
To fish, you first need to craft a Fishing Rod:
- Recipe: 3 sticks + 2 string (crafted at Workbench)
- Durability: ~100 casts before breaking
- Usage: Equip and right-click while facing water to cast. Wait for a bite (bobber animation), then right-click again to reel in.
