Crafting System

Crafting in Corewilds revolves around the Workbench. Place a workbench in the world and interact with it (E) to open the crafting interface. Recipes are organized by category: tools, weapons, armor, blocks and materials.

Workbench Recipes

Tools

• Wooden Pickaxe — 3 wood + 2 sticks → Basic mining tool, low durability
• Stone Pickaxe — 3 stone + 2 sticks → Faster mining, medium durability
• Iron Pickaxe — 3 iron_ingot + 2 sticks → Mines all standard ores efficiently
• Gold Pickaxe — 3 gold_ingot + 2 sticks → Fast mining speed, lower durability
• Wooden Axe — 3 wood + 2 sticks → Chops trees faster
• Stone Axe — 3 stone + 2 sticks → Improved chopping speed
• Shovel — 1 iron_ingot + 2 sticks → Digs soil and sand quickly

Weapons

• Wooden Sword — 2 wood + 1 stick → Basic melee weapon
• Stone Sword — 2 stone + 1 stick → More damage than wood
• Iron Sword — 2 iron_ingot + 1 stick → Reliable combat weapon
• Gold Sword — 2 gold_ingot + 1 stick → High damage, lower durability

Armor

• Leather Helmet — 5 leather → Basic head protection
• Leather Chestplate — 8 leather → Basic torso protection
• Iron Helmet — 5 iron_ingot → Strong head protection
• Iron Chestplate — 8 iron_ingot → Strong torso protection
• Iron Leggings — 7 iron_ingot → Leg protection
• Iron Boots — 4 iron_ingot → Foot protection

Blocks & Materials

• Planks — 1 wood → 4 planks (building material)
• Sticks — 2 planks → 4 sticks (crafting component)
• Torch — 1 stick + 1 coal → Light source for caves
• Workbench — 4 wood → Crafting station
• Chest — 8 planks → Storage container
• Fishing Rod — 3 sticks + 2 string → Used for fishing in water biomes

Crafting Tips

Higher-tier tools require refined materials. Use the Refiner machine to turn raw_ore into refined ingots. The Loom converts cotton_fiber into cotton_cloth for advanced recipes. Always keep a spare workbench in your inventory for emergency crafting in the field.
